The National MS Society is dedicated to
ending the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. Funds received
through The MS Walk support education, advocacy, research and local
programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS and their
families. When MS strikes, people are encouraged to contact their
local chapters for assistance, advice and programs.
Donations to the MS Society may be used to
underwrite the following programs and services:

Provides dressing aids, writing aids
and adaptive eating utensils for 4 people. |

Provides five new books or videos for
the MS Society Library. |

Underwrites the cost of a support group
meeting for one year. |

Provides scholarships for a family of 4
to attend a family event. |

Provides a set of batteries for a power
wheelchair in our equipment loan pool. |

Underwrites the cost of short-term
phone counseling for homebound individuals. |

Provides an adjustable hospital bed or
a portable ramp for our equipment loan pool. |

Provides a manual wheelchair for our
equipment loan pool. |

Defrays the cost of leg braces for two
persons with MS. |

Underwrites the cost of a community
Wellness program. |

Provides transportation to medical
visits for 10 individuals living with MS. |
