Friday, December 6, 2002 - Walk in these shoes - J.R. Rankin, left, one of the owners of Rankin Heartland X’Press, and Ann Eggers, chairwoman of the local MS Walk, show the construction-paper sneakers the business sold to raise money for the event earlier this fall.  The store sold the sneakers for $1, and donated all the proceeds to the walk, which raises money to help multiple sclerosis patients.  (DAR/Joy Blackburn)
