Register for Poplar Bluff Walk MS

Take a Few Steps Before You Walk

Step 1:  Register Today.  Fill out the  Registration Form online.  You will receive Walk MS updates, detailed information, and a pledge sheet.

Step 2:  Request Contributions.  Start fundraising today.  To walk, you must collect contributions, and it is a good idea to begin today.  How much should you raise?  Each walker raises an average of $223, but there is no limit to what you can accomplish.  Top fund-raisers win awesome prizes, including a vacation getaway, and you will sent information on how to make fund-raising easy.

Step 3:  Spread the Word About New Ways to Fight MS.  Thanks to significant advances in research, the FDA has approved several treatments that may alter the underlying disease course of multiple sclerosis, and early treatment is critically important.  People with MS should consult their doctors about using one of these FDA-approved medications and other effective treatments for the symptoms of MS.  If you or someone you know has MS, contact the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at 1-800-FIGHT MS or info@gatewaymssociety.org.

Step 4:  Collect Contributions.  Collecting contributions from your sponsors when they sign your contribution form will save you time and add to the enjoyment of fund-raising.  On the day of the local Walk MS, turn in your contributions.  To be eligible for prizes, be sure to give your contributions to the National MS Society by the deadline.

Step 5:  Come to your local Walk MS!  The event is held rain or shine.  Lace up your walking shoes, grab your contributions and form and come enjoy the day!

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is the only national voluntary MS organization that meets the standards of all major agencies that rate non-profit groups.

Two of the greatest contributions you can make to help fight multiple sclerosis are your own two feet.
